Roy played football 4 seasons at Nebraska, from 2007-2010

He then went on to play six years in the NFL, from 2011- 2016, for the Washington Commanders and Las Vegas Raiders.

After Roys NFL career, He and his bride, Danielle, moved to Bennington, Nebraska, in 2017, where they currently reside, with their 6 children: Ziegler, Vili, Malakai, Nola, Kenton, and Hosea

Upon moving to Nebraska, the LORD used them to plant a church, where Roy was a Co-Lead Pastor for 5 years from 2020 through 2025

Roy now serves their city as a sports missionary with Kingdom Sports, and is passionate about coaching and preaching.
