Jonathan and April Lotz are a husband-and-wife ministry team who know firsthand that God's faithfulness shines brightest through life's darkest storms. Together, they bring decades of ministry experience, authentic faith, and hard-won wisdom to churches, schools, and organizations across the country.

 

Together, Jonathan and April speak more than 200 times per year at revivals, conferences, retreats, school chapels, and civic events. They don't just teach about lifestyle evangelism—they live it. Grounded in expository Bible teaching rather than mere storytelling, they arrive early, stay late, and embrace every opportunity for genuine connection. Their message is simple: God is faithful, hope in Jesus is real, and each one can reach one.

Jonathan Lotz

Even coming from a well-known family—he's the grandson of evangelist Billy Graham and son of Anne Graham Lotz—Jonathan is no stranger to pain and suffering. He's faced athletic disappointment, abuse, cancer, divorce, unemployment, and COVID. Yet through each valley, God has met him with the hope and power of the cross.

 

Jonathan is an ordained evangelist with over 35 years of ministry experience. He spent a decade with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, coordinating crusades that set stadium attendance records across the country. He's served with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, led missions work in East Africa, directed youth outreach at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, and pastored The Revolution Church as interim pastor during a season of transition.

 

But Jonathan's ministry isn't confined to church buildings. He's served as a corporate trainer for Chick-fil-A, a delivery driver for Kennedy Office, and an assistant varsity basketball coach—integrating his faith into every marketplace role. Whether asking student-athletes "Who do you play for?" or serving a cup of cold water in Jesus' name to a customer, Jonathan believes that authentic ministry happens in everyday moments, one person at a time.

 

As an evangelist, Jonathan is committed to preaching the Word of God with clarity and compassion. He leads church revivals, speaks at men's and youth retreats, teaches evangelism training, provides pulpit supply, and conducts weddings and funerals. He currently serves as Vice-President of the NC Baptist Evangelists and has preached the Gospel across the United States and internationally.

 

Jonathan's mission is clear: Encourage the Leader, Equip the Layman, and Evangelize the Lost. His heart is to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ—because his own life is proof that God redeems, restores, and makes all things new.

 

April Lotz

April is one of the most joyful Christ-followers you'll ever meet. And when you hear how the Lord has carried her through the trials, tragedies, and triumphs of life, your faith in the promises of God will be both strengthened and stretched.

 

Having walked through the death of her husband following his struggle with alcoholism and the loss of her stepfather just two weeks later, April never lost sight of Jesus. Like the disciples in Mark 4, she has experienced the Lord speaking into life’s storms, “Peace, be still.” Her life testifies to the faithfulness of God in every season. Like the disciples in Mark 4 who encountered a storm of hurricane proportions, April heard the Lord speak "Peace, be still" in the midst of her own life's storms—and she never lost sight of Jesus.

 

She is the mother of three incredible children who love Jesus and have walked through life’s seasons with faith and perseverance. Her oldest, Catherine, is a dance instructor and photographer married to Ethan Britt, a videographer, and together they share a love for creative storytelling. Her middle son, Caleb, is a college graduate and entrepreneur who owns a landscape business in Fuquay-Varina. Her youngest son, Ryan, is a junior at North Greenville University preparing for pastoral ministry and preaching the Gospel, and is joyfully engaged to be married to Maddie this summer.

 

April served as a fourth-grade teacher and department chair at Wake Christian Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina, for 17 years. She impacted her students with the Gospel in a relevant and contagious way, investing not just in academics but in their hearts. Beyond the classroom, she has faithfully served for over three decades in women's, youth, and children's ministry in the local church—pouring into others with authenticity, vulnerability, and biblical truth.

 

April has learned the hard yet powerful truth that "hard is good." As she has clung to Jesus throughout the fiery trials of life, blessings have come out of her brokenness. Her story—transcribed by God on the tablet of her heart for His glory—encourages others that God's grace is sufficient, His promises are true, and hope is real even in the darkest seasons.
