KEITH GUINTA

Keith has the humble privilege of leading and teaching worship from his community in CT to the remote reaches of Rwanda, Uganda, the Philippines, and India.  But as he describes in his book and online course, Worship and The Interior Life, the most cherished place to worship is in the prayer closet.

Raised in a practicing Catholic home, his faith was awakened in 1978 in the embers of the Jesus Movement.  Those early years of Holy Spirit outpouring shaped his life for the adventures that lay ahead.

After seven years as a stand-up comic and Christian keynote speaker, he completed two training climbs on Mt. Rainier before summiting Denali in Alaska in 1996.  Still hungry for adventure, he set his sights on triathlon, completing five Ironman races, including two finishes at the World Championship in Kona, HI.

With multiple sub-three-hour marathon finishes in Boston and New York, Keith became a coach and used his experience to train and motivate athletes hungry to accomplish bold goals.

In 2001, Keith and his wife Jill embarked on an even more demanding journey as church planters.  With a toddler and a baby in tow, they opened their home to three other families and led a home church.  After three years of continued growth, Keith left the business world and pastored the church full time for six years.  During this season of leadership, the Lord began calling him into deep, intimate worship both in gatherings and in the secret place.

Keith left the pastorate in 2010, continued leading worship, and re-entered the business world.  In 2012, he founded a technology firm called The Denali Group, where he learned to lead businesspeople with the practice and principles of the Kingdom of God.

His book and online course, Worship and The Interior Life, is a transformational journey into deeper intimacy with God. In these days of wonderfully produced worship experiences from the platform, Keith is inviting us all to rediscover and reclaim worship in the most important temple on God’s good earth: The temple of His presence in the garden of our hearts.
